This evening, Acadia on Main is inviting members of the FLSBC for an evening of holiday shopping, of which 15% of all sales will go to the Fox Lane Sports Boosters! December 3 (12-4pm): Arc'teryx Day

This evening, Acadia on Main is inviting members of the MKESA for an evening of holiday shopping, of which 15% of all sales will go to the MKESA! This event is open to the entire Bedford School District community!

December 8 (6-8 pm): Holiday Fundraising Event for the Community Center of Northern Westchester
Join us for a holiday fundraising evening of shopping and refreshments to raise money for the Community Center of Northern Westchester! At the end of the evening, Acadia will donate 15% of all sales generated during the event to the Community Center. This is a great way to do your holiday shopping early, get the best selection and support the Community Center!

December 14 (6-9pm): Evening Holiday Fundraising Event for the Westchester Christmas Dinner Organization
Based in Katonah, NY, the Westchester Christmas Dinner Organization is an all-volunteer, non-sectarian group providing a Christmas Day dinner and day of community for individuals and families in need. For this holiday fundraising evening, 15% of sales will be donated to the Christmas Dinner.


November 19 (12-4pm): Adventure Travel Event with Travel Specialist Sue Fuirst of Protravel International

September 17 & 18: Mt. Kisco Sales Days
Acadia on Main is blowing out its inventory with fantastic savings on Spring and Summer 2011 merchandise, and steep discounts (up to 70%) on footwear & Fall/Winter 2010 clothing! Stop by for great deals!
During Mt. Kisco Sales Days, Slow Food Metro North will be co-sponsoring a $5 Slow Food Challenge with lunch out doors under the Boys and Girls Club's Tent. The delicious meal will be prepared by the local sustainably minded Little Kabab Station. Acadia on Main will be hosting a $100 for anyone who takes the $5 Challenge.

September 24: Mt. Kisco Child Care Center's Feed Me Fresh Fundraiser
The Mount Kisco Child Care Center a will be hosting the 7th Annual Feed Me Fresh: An Edible Evening, to benefit its garden-to-table nutrition program at Ivanna Farms in Bedford Corners.

September 10: Katonah Memorial Park Road & Trail 5K Run
Mark your calendar for the Katonah Memorial Park Road & Trail 5K Run on Saturday, September 10th. This rolling scenic 3.1 run will take place through the beautiful hamlet of Katonah and the Trails of Katonah Memorial Park. The race begins and ends at the Katonah Memorial Park Pool Pavilion. The event is being held to commemorate the ten-year anniversary of 9/11, and will include a Commemoration Ceremony at the Pool Pavilion following the race. This Race is being sponsored in part by the Katonah Chamber of Commerce.

June 11, 2011: Adventure Travel Day
Learn all about adventure travel and ecotourism at Acadia on Main's Adventure Travel Day on Saturday, June 11th, from noon to 4, featuring the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) and GAP Adventures. Watch videos of trips, ask questions and plan your next adventure getaway! Acadia on Main will provide a 10% discount on clothing, footwear and gear for customers who book a trip with NOLS or GAP Adventures.

The book covers over 180 parks with almost 600 miles of trails in Westchester County, with maps included. Books are available for purchase, with a portion of proceeds going to the NY/NJ Trail Conference.
